Five years ago, we embarked on our journey as vacation rental property investors. We started with a three-bedroom unit in south Florida, but soon realized it wasn't the investment we had envisioned. As we watched hotels maintain an impressive 85% occupancy rate year-round, we struggled with a modest 60% occupancy in our Airbnb.

This stark contrast prompted us to ask: how were hotels maintaining such high occupancy while our Airbnb often sat empty? We decided to investigate, believing there must be a way to increase our income without lowering prices.

This innovation marked the beginning of a dramatic change: our occupancy rate soared from 60% to an impressive 92%, doubling our income with the same property!

FlexShare Spaces was born. With our new FlexShare Lockoff Units, we offered guests the flexibility to rent an individual room or the entire apartment, catering to their needs and preferences. The result was remarkable: not only did we fill our property nearly every day of the year, but we also doubled our income without reducing prices.
